Linethma lives in Dubai with her family. A congenital condition causing a non healing fracture to the leg has made Linethma spend almost a full year in casts. One surgery, almost a year ago did not result in healing of the bone as hoped for. Without sufficient funds for the required surgery the family was desperate for help. The Little Wings Foundation was able to support Linethmas recovery by paying for most of the treatment and hopefully final surgery. Surgery took place at Medcare Hospital in Dubai.

Linethma will require further surgeries in the future to lengthen the now substantially shorter leg. For now the healing of the bone is what the family is hoping for. Only then will Linethma have a chance to walk normally once again.

Mohammed is a boy from Pakistan living in Dubai. He was born with severe deformity to both arms and hands. The deformity does not allow him to participate in most activities of daily life. The Little Wings Foundation has planned for a Pediatric Hand surgeon from Europe to assist with the surgical treatment here in Dubai. Mohammed will require 3 surgeries for each hand. All surgeies will take place in the coming months, starting in December 2009.
